This app is truly great for the first time gun owner all the way up to guys (and girls) with multiple safes full. From tracking cleaning and maintenance to storing serials and pictures including those of accessories; this app truly does it all. My favorite feature is the ammo count. I work at a local firearm retailer and love to keep track of my ammo so I know what to pick up before I head home. This app separates ammo by caliber, manufacturer, etc so you know everything about whats in the safe at home.

The best. I was going to first use excel, and the tapforms to track my loads and shooting but figured i would see if someone else had invented the wheel. They did and this is it. Even if you do set up your own database id recommend this app to get a look at all the variables you can keep track of. Only negative is the synch process. Have to use itunes to back up and then transfer to another device. Author seems to have been bitten by icloud. But t what about dropbox? Or at least let me email the database from one device to another. Itunes is a pain.but detailed steps on his site/blog.

Os7 version is awesome. Very elegant.

This app does just about everything you could want it to do with reference to firearms tracking. I would like to see the ability to print to PDF added in an update - to also include photos in the print out would be terrific. Thanks for all the hard work and I look forward to more features being added!

I havent begun to utilize this app to its fullest, but so far Ive really enjoyed it and all the features.. I do a lot of reloading and it helps me track my expense for reloads vs. retail. Do yourself a favor and get this app.. Works great on my iPad!

Downloaded the Gun Log SPC app and love the features. Nice interface, screens, pickers, and functionality! I love the app is all about shooting! I’m hand loading more and more these days and love that I can add and track hand loaded ammo.

Great program for any gun owner. Great improvement in most recent update ability to create PDF reports for firearms. Good for your own records or for use to add coverage for your homeowners insurance. I dont plan to use in the near future, but like the ability to keep track of sales. Really easy to run right out of the box. Have suggested for forum users. A real bargain!

I was just saying that I wanted an iOS app to help me track my range time and the round count through each weapon, and I found this app. Does exactly what I need it to do. Well done.

This is an excellent app with lots of features...so many that I dont get to use them all. I primarily use this for record keeping purposes of my firearms, to include make, model, serial number, etc. in case anything is ever stolen. You can even track what you spent, how much you sold it for too. There are lots of other features as well. Definitely worth the small price, this thing is way more valuable!

I really think this only gets 3 stars without iCloud backup (pretty important feature). I would give it 5 stars with iCloud backup/sync.

I entered all my guns into the app using my iPhone. Great way to track what you have and where it goes. But it would be nice if it would also update the iCloud copy on my iPad. This is a great app and I know it will only get better. Thank you.

Very nice to have all my guns in one location with serial numbers and pictures. Able to keep track of how many rounds go through each gun and how much ammo you have on hand. Easy to use.

My wife and I purchased new guns this year and I wanted a way to keep track of every detail about them. Amazingly one app suited all of our needs. I have created a database with pictures of our guns, purchase price and date and tons of other details. This is handy for keeping track of maintenance. Additionally if you are a frequent gun trader /seller or FFL to keep track of your inventory of sold at and sold to info. I am able to track as much detail as I want about the ammo that was purchased and shot, stats for the ammo and notes. This info can then be utilized in your range "session" reports. I use both commercial and custom hand loads, and this software lets me track every component and formula and track the results of each session to include photos so that allow me to have a much more highly detailed shooters / hand loaders log than can be accomplished on paper. Additionally I am able to track our shooting sessions, take a pictures of the target and include details about range conditions, POI, grouping and tons of other details that pertain to either the long gun shooter or pistol shooter. Dont shy away from this app because you may not be interested in tracking as much data as I am. You certainly do not have to use as many of the features that I enjoy on the app, all I am doing is highlighting that this app probably has the more features than you will ever fully utilize, but for me that is a good thing. It is a great value and makes tracking my progress and our guns maintenance very easy. Having said all these positive things the only thing that I wish was easier to use is backup / sync. Integration with a third party service like Dropbox or something would be keen. The process for backing up the app is probably a little more complicated than I would prefer, however on the whole out of all the things the app does, that is the only thing I would like to see made easier.

I want my money back. I was looking for something much simpler. Confusing and difficult to set up. Too many separate screens.

Absolutely love this app! Great feature-set and active support. For the avid shooter, collector, or both, this is a great tool to record and track your inventory and usage. I am using it on both my iPad and iPhone and transfer of data between devices is a breeze. Highly recommend.

This app easily allows you to store all your firearm info - from your specific firearms to ammo to range time to malfunctions to etc... There are way more options than I will ever use but I only use the ones that I find most helpful. It isnt the "prettiest" app - it looks like a database. It would be nice if it had a bit flashier of an appearance with pictures of your firearms or pics from your firing sessions that showed up first thing but I will gladly take its rather boring appearance with its functionality over some of the other gun apps Ive tried that are so much more limited. Bottom line - if you want one place to store and track your firearm stuff then this app will definitely do the trick.

This app keeps track of everything I had in separate locations but now its all in one place. I have all I need to store metallic load data but Ive had to be a little creative in adding shotgun loads in terms of shot load (oz), shot size, shot type (steel, lead, bismuth), hull, shell length, powder load, primer and wad --- but it works for now.

I use this app to keep track of my firearms and ammunition, its fairly easy to use, love the PDF reports, can print them out to have a hard copy as well.

Amazing to have everything at your fingertips. The app is amazing and I love having this information with me constantly.
